Thou openest Thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Psalm 145:16

How my verse spoke to me:
     This verse "came up" about a year or two ago. The Lord was showing me how He is the only One Who can fulfill me and the only One Who can satisfy me. Many girls try to find this fulfillment and satisfaction in a boyfriend, husband, best friend, job, mission-work, blogging, face-booking, you name it. But the truth is : satisfaction (and fulfillment) comes only by God's hand! He is the ONLY ONE who can truly satisfy.

~~~
How did your verse speak to you?
Take a minute or two and share your verse plus how it specially applies to you.
My verse for this week is: As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 1 Peter 1:14
This verse really reminds me that we aren't who we used to be. That old life of ignorance and not knowing God and the Truth are truly gone. And that I need to remember that, keep myself true to what God says is right and be obedient to him. Which makes me happy and as your verse says, gives me true fulfillment! Sierra
Keep growing beautiful!
The past two weeks, I memorized Romans 8:1-4. At the same time, I have been reading through some of the Old Testament. It is neat to see the parallel of Old Testament laws vs. God's grace in sending His Son to die for our sin.
Posted about it here: http://withajoyfulnoise.blogspot.com/2012/10/verses-4142-of-52_20.html
Oh my!!! Once again, time has really gotten away with me! I have still been memorizing, but I keep forgetting to comment! Since my last comment, I have memorized Romans 12:11-16. During these verses, the Lord has taught me many things, including how to live a life pleasing to Him(hope, being patient, praying, etc). It has been an immense blessing to see how He puts each verse for me to memorize during the week when I need it most! ;) I fail Him daily, but He still picks me up and gives me another chance!
In Christ,
Miriam
