Pray:
Ask God to show you which verses He would have you memorize.
Write Down:
Keep a page of “Verses to memorize.” As you read your Bible or hear preaching, jot down the references for the verses that God uses in your life.
Passages:
It is sometimes easier to memorize longer passages rather than random verses.
Specific Verses:
If you are dealing with a specific problem (i.e. pride, disobedience, lying, slothfulness), use a concordance to find verses that talk about the problem and memorize verses that will help you to conquer the problem.
