"Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
Romans 13:10

A few weeks ago, I memorized 1 John 4:10, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." Before that, I memorized Galatians 5:14, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” It has been neat to see how they all fit together!

What are your verses this week?

Have you reviewed all eighteen verses recently?

Great verses you are working on! Yes, I love also how Scripture supports Scriptures ~ God's Word never ceases to amaze me! =)

I've been working through 1 John, Chapter 5...am currently on verse 8 this week.

Thankful for this challenge ~ it really has kept me on my toes and accountable during all the busy-ness of these past few months! I'm asking the Lord to bless you for your leadership and faithfulness with this challenge.

Blessings to you as you grow closer to Him and help others do the same~

Revelation 3:10
Because you have kept the word of my patience, I will also keep you in the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell in the earth.

The letter to the church in Philadelphia is so encouraging! This verse is especially so, because it promises that those who are faithful to the Lord will receive His special help during spiritual battle. For anyone who sometimes really struggles with something, this promise can be the inspiration and power to get through a tough day.

And I finally wrote all my verses on index cards, with the reference on one side and the verse on the other side. I intend to review one index card (or a portion if it's really long) per day.

So sorry that I haven't commented in weeks. Since my last comment, I have memorised Psalm 19, Psalm 117 and 1 Peter 1.

For this week (18), I memorized 1 Peter 3:15-16--

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you for the reason of the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander."

Yes, I have been reviewing my other verses! :)

Again, another week has gone by SO quickly! I am finishing up memorizing 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. This week is verse 26: " I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:"
It is kinda hard to memorize a verse that is a continuation, so I have already started working on verse 27 too. :)
And please forgive me if I don't comment with my verse next week! We will be gone on a trip, but I will try to catch up commenting when we get back(I will still be memorizing though). :)
