Week 51 of 52

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Such a short verse . . . yet it is packed with promise and comfort! In any trouble, God is there. When we are weak, God is there. We can always turn to God and trust in Him!

Week 40:
To you I call, O Lord my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward you Most Holy Place. Psalms 28:1-2

Week 41:
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. Psalms 116:1-2

Week 42:
Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught at the voice of the enemy, at the stares of the wicked; for they bring down suffering upon me and revile me in their anger. Psalms 55:1-3

Week 43:
Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalms 28:6-7

Week 44:
Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. Psalms 40:4

Week 45:
When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Psalms 56:3-4

Week 46:
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4

Week 47:
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4

Week 48:
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14

Week 49:
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. Proverbs 31:17

Week 50:
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Week 51:
You know that Christ was rich, but for you he became poor. Christ did this so that by his being poor you might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

These are the verses I've done for the past 12 weeks. Sorry I couldn't get them in right away.

Merry Christmas, God Bless, Amy
