"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God."
James 1:19-20
Truly, we can say, "Enough said." :)

What is your sixteenth memory verse/passage?
Remember to review all of your other verses at least once this week!

Revelation 3:8
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word and hast not denied my name.
It always amazes me when people act as if serving the Lord is a drag, is all work, and has no benefits. Is it easy? No. Is it always fun? No. Do you see the benefits right away? No. But after hanging on to Him with all of your strength, working daily to keep His word, refusing to deny His name in action, word, or attitude--He sets an open door before you that NO ONE can shut. Whenever I recite this verse, it reminds me that I am promised an open door if I remain faithful to my God, as the church of Philadelphia did. I know that I will reap if I do not lose heart. I don't know about you, but this excites me immensely!
Still working through Proverbs 4! :) Getting there...
This week I memorized Psalm 119:1-3.
Blessings,
Emily.
This week I memorized James 1:2-3:
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sister whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverence."
My sixteenth verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24: "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."
I came across this verse at just the right time, and it really challenged me to keep running and going---for the glory of God!!!
My sixteenth verse was James 3:17, a continuation of the passage that I began a few weeks ago.
