"But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

I love the simplicity of this verse: God will supply all that I need in life – not necessarily what I categorize as “needs,” but what He knows are true needs in my life. He sees the largest and the smallest needs I have in my life – both physically and spiritually. He has the resources to provide for these needs – after all, my God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (see Psalm 50:10)!! How blessed I am to be the child of such a loving King!

What is your verse this week?

Remember to continually review the other twelve verses that you learned. We do not want to memorize and forget, but memorize and remember

Psalm 18:32-33
It is God that girdeth me with strength and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hind's feet and setteth me upon my high places.

I love this reminder that strength does not lie in how hard I try or how successfully I can manufacture feelings of faith or resolve. He's all I need. A previous verse says, "As for God, His way is perfect" and this verse shows that His strength aids me to align my way in His perfect way. Plus, He helps me to navigate the rocky crags with ease. The promise is not a small one and I'm so glad I can depend on Him!

My thirteenth verse is Psalms 27:14: Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
I, too, love the simplicity of my verse. If we wait on the Lord, and have courage, He will strengthen our hearts. So many times it is hard to wait, but it is always worth it. Jesus has everything under control and a perfect plan for everything!
I am trying to review my other twelve verses every few days. :)
Have a wonderful day!

My verse for this week is Colossians 1:9b-11:

"We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience."

I apologize for not being very consistent in posting my memory verses on your blog. I have been trying to keep up with my weekly memory, though, and wrote a post on my blog with the verses I have memorized so far:

Since I finished Romans 5 last week (praise God!!) I began memorizing the latter part of 2 Timothy 2. This week God allowed me to memorize verses 20-22: "But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor; sanctified and meet for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (by memory, so there may be a couple of errors :))
